    Hi Ray,
It’s about time you had a well deserved rest, I’ve never known a more prolific writer and ardent model maker in my life, and all of it TOP CLASS! You have certainly come a long way since you stood in your air force greatcoat inside our design office at Palitoy, Coalville. But as there was a hole in the roof snow still fell on you. I am now retired and living in Nuneaton and am enjoying making WW1 model aircraft. Just got hold of an Eduard S.E.5A and it looks a cracker!
I love your website – take care.

I have come across some relics of a wing including fabric, dated June 1918 that may be from an Armstrong Witworth FK8. Ink stamps on the spindled (routed) spar have a small square with what looks like AID 2F2 within a square, followed by the dates 27 June 2018/ 25 June 2018.
Do you have any information or drawings that may help me and my son in positively identifying these parts ?
